Principles for Safe Training

Never train alone.

Warm up and cool down properly to avoid injury.

Be responsible for your own safety. Use appropriate safety equipment and spotting, and do no attempt things that you don't know fully how to do, or beyond your current ability.

Don't teach others things that you are not competent at or unsure about how to spot or that are beyond their ability.

Never train under the influence of any drug. Drugs, including alcohol impair your judgement.

If you're not sure or don't fully understand something, always ask, don't take unnecessary risks.

Always make a visual check of equipment before using it.

Never work or pass underneath anyone working at height.

Appropriate clothing to be worn at all times

Tell other users what you are about to do.

Check you have sufficient space around you before performing a move, using equipment etc.
